Meet Lisa...

Certified Health & Life Coach

Working with people to help them live their healthiest lives is an absolute passion and something I am so thrilled to be doing.  As someone with a background in nursing I have worked closely with people in all stages of sickness and health and have seen first hand the benefit that behaviour change in areas such as diet, exercise, sleep and stress management can have on people's health and well being. 

 

The struggle most people face is one that I can also relate to in my own life, with the increasing complexities of being a person in this busy world, changing habits and behaviours is really challenging even when your life literally depends on it. However,  building healthy habits is NOT a matter of lack of knowledge or lack of motivation. We all know WHAT  to do.... it's the HOW  that is the biggest barrier to changing behaviour... life just isn't as simple as it used to be and therefore creating change often feels like an uphill battle.

The goal is to move out of overwhelm and start to make healthy changes. Most importantly, once we've made healthy changes, we need a way to make them stick especially when life is complicated and there are so many other priorities and pressing matters that fight for our time and attention on a daily basis. 

 

I have combined all of my experience working in health care with more intensive training in habit change and transformational coaching to allow me to work more closely with people who want to pursue their best health - to maximize their energy and live their healthiest life.
